Overview

Trendium is a local-first educational market-awareness desktop application. Market calculations and dashboard rendering take place on the user's computer.

Information used for licensing

For copies purchased directly from Trendium or through supported third-party storefronts, Trendium sends a license key, a randomly generated device identifier, the app version, platform, and license-check time to the Trendium license service.

The license service may associate a customer email address, purchase type, subscription status, expiration date, and device count with the license. License keys are stored as cryptographic hashes rather than readable raw keys.

For copies bought through Whop, Trendium checks the license key with Whop and stores the randomly generated device identifier with that purchase at Whop, so each key works on one computer at a time.

Copies acquired through Microsoft Store use Microsoft-managed purchase access and do not require a Trendium license key. Microsoft may process Store purchase and entitlement information under Microsoft's own privacy terms.

Market data

Trendium retrieves public market data — prices, funding and open interest — from Bybit, Binance and OKX. It does not request or store exchange passwords, private API keys, wallet credentials, balances, private keys, recovery phrases, or trade history.

How information is used

  • Verify lifetime, trial, or subscription access.
  • Apply reasonable device limits and assist with device resets.
  • Diagnose activation problems and protect the service from misuse.
  • Maintain purchase, refund, cancellation, and support records.

Storage and service providers

Direct-license records are processed through Cloudflare Workers and stored in Cloudflare D1. Public market data is provided by Bybit, Binance and OKX. Purchase information may be processed by Microsoft Store, Whop, or another official platform through which Trendium was purchased.

Retention and control

License and support records are retained while access is active and afterward when reasonably necessary for refunds, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, or support. Users may request access correction, device reset, or deletion through the official Trendium support channel associated with their purchase.

Children

Trendium is not directed to children and is intended for users who are legally able to access financial-market educational software in their jurisdiction.

Trendium does not sell personal information and does not use customer data for advertising profiles.
